If you want to play football in blacklight, this is the ball for you. As soon as you shine a blacklight/UV light on it, the ball glows brightly. Ultra-light neoprene football suitable for multifunctional training/recreational football. 22 cm diameter.
The football is available in blue with yellow patches, green with orange patches, and pink with white patches. Its neon color is striking in daylight, but under UV/blacklight, the football glows partially or fully brightly! Great for glow/blacklight sports and games!
Blacklight, or glow-in-the-dark football, is an original variation on traditional football. The sport is played in a completely dark sports hall or gym, where the only light is a blacklight / UV light. The blacklights only illuminate white and fluorescent objects.
The lines are covered with fluorescent neon tape to make them glow in the blacklight. The goals can also be covered with neon tape or decorated with neon wool. Players can make themselves visible with glow bracelets, neon laces, white or fluorescent clothing, and, for a truly spectacular look, decorate themselves with UV make-up, nail polish, and/or hairspray.
Note: The football doesn't glow without a UV lamp. You need a UV light/blacklight to make the ball react. Without these lamps, it's just a regular football. So, this is not a glow-in-the-dark ball.
The room must be completely dark. No daylight should enter the room. Windows can be covered with black plastic if necessary. The lights should also be turned off as much as possible for optimal effect.
The most important thing is the UV lamps. Glow Specialist sells professional blacklights / UV products in its webshop. If you don't want to buy lamps for just one competition, you can also rent them and pick them up in our showroom (see rental light & sound ).
